Opposite the right hand side of the Church is the Village Green and Stocks! Local people run the St. Peter's Village Tour, which has become world famous! The characters are dressed in old costumes and tell historic tales about some of the buildings and people of St. Peter's and Reading Street Villages.

Parking and Surroundings

There is a CoOp Supermarket next to the Village Green, which has a car park just past it. Half of the car park belongs to the CoOp and the other half, furthest from the CoOp, belongs to the Church and is free. Ideal for parking if you stay at the house, or you can park a little further along the road.

From the end of the car park you can access a small woodland area called Mocketts' Wood.

On the left hand side of the Church there is a path that goes past the Church entrance and continues through the Churchyard all the way to Margate, via Drapers Mill, a windmill that is open to the public at certain times.

There is a chemist next door to the house, an excellent butcher just along the High Street, the Red Lion pub just across the road, and a fish and chip shop around the corner.

The main Broadstairs High Street and Station are just a 20 minute walk away, and the main beach, Viking Bay, is straight down from there, just another 5 minutes walk.

St. Peter's is located centrally in The Isle of Thanet and offers easy access to all of it's bays and beaches as well as it's many pubs, bars, restaurants and micropubs by foot if you enjoy a walk, or on The Loop bus route which runs about every 10 minutes from a bus stop just a half mile walk from the house.

Facilities at the House

Sunny Garden

The house consists of a small lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, a rear patio area, a basement chill-out room, first floor bathroom and bedroom and two more bedrooms on the second floor. There is also a patio garden outside!
