When we are walking we are always looking for wildlife, interesting plants and trees, birds, etc. Hope you enjoy the pics!

So far, on our walks, we have seen Hoopoes, mostly at Montana Blanca, Barbary Falcons, which we thought were Kestrels at first, Bethelot's Pippits, Whimbrels, Egrets and a beautiful Cream-Coloured Courser on the GR131 walking route, between Montana Blanca and San Bartolome!

There are some great images of these at Natural Born Birder

It's not very often I manage to capture a decent picture of a bird myself, but in July 2017, we walked to Playa Honda and back, and at the Playa Honda end of the airport was a Great Grey Shrike, sitting up on the fence!

I crept towards it to see if I could get a closer shot, and it flew down closer to me and posed on an Aloe Vera plant! Probably thought I had some food for it!
