New Rules of Coexistence

Los Gracioseros complex is very pleased to be able to welcome guests back after lockdown. At the time of writing, 26/06/2020, Lanzarote is free of Covid-19, and, of course, we all want to keep it that way.

Due to the world health emergency situation, the Canary Islands Government has published in the Official Gazette, the new coexistence rules that must be met from now on. 

Regarding the use of common areas and recreational pools, such as those within Los Gracioseros, the social distance of 1.5m must be respected, and very importantly, extreme cleaning and disinfection of items and areas that are in common use must take place. 

The Los Gracioseros Owners Community will provide the means for all this to be accomplished, and will ensure that all these measures are met. 

Each owner is obliged to ensure that their guests abide by these New Rules of Coexistence. The Community will take action against any owner who does not respect them. Therefore, every guest must agree to abide by the rules prior to their arrival. 

Initially, these are the measures that will be taken until further notice. They are NOT definitive and will be subject to change as and when necessary: 

1. There will be no special time limit for the use of the pool (the hours established by the community are maintained: from 10:00 to 19:00).
2. There will be no limitation of capacity in the swimming pool or in other common areas (as long as the safety distance of 1.5m can be maintained).
3. It is not necessary to keep a register and request an appointment for the use of the pool (provided that the safety distance of 1.5m can be maintained).
4. ONLY 50% OF THE SUNBEDS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR USE (in order to guarantee the safety distance of 1.5m)
5. EACH USER MUST DISINFECT HIS OR HER SUNBEDS, BEFORE AND AFTER USE (disinfectant will be provided)

6. COMMON AREAS AND THE POOL AREA WILL BE DISINFECTED TWICE A DAY BY THE COMMUNITY.
   MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL WILL HAVE A SHEET TO CONTROL DISINFECTION SCHEDULES.

7. HAND DISINFECTANT GEL DISPENSERS ARE PROVIDED, AND THEIR USE IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ACCESSING COMMON AREAS, AND BEFORE USING THE POOL.

8. PLEASE, BE RESPONSIBLE. KEEP THE MINIMUM SOCIAL DISTANCE, USE MASKS AND OBSERVE ALL THE HYGIENE MEASURES THAT WILL KEEP US ALL SAFE AND ALLOW US ALL TO RETURN, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, TO NORMALITY.
