Botany Bay is the nearest to Margate, followed by Kingsgate Bay, Joss Bay for the surf dudes, then Stone Bay, with it's rows of colourful beach huts, then the main Broadstairs beach known as Viking Bay. Next to Viking Bay is Louisa Bay, then you can walk a bit further round the coast to Dumpton Gap, which is the nearest Broadstairs bay to Ramsgate and it's picturesque Royal Harbour.
The historic village of St. Peter's, Broadstairs, is very central for walking or cycling to any of the seven bays of Broadstairs, and beyond, to Margate or Ramsgate, around the very scenic coastline. If walking or cycling is not for you, there is an excellent bus service called The Loop, which you can pick up close by. The Loop runs every ten minutes most of the time! It's only just over a mile to Broadstairs Train Station, and not far past there to the main town of Broadstairs, with it's fine array of restaurants, pubs, bars and micropubs!
